Cappuccino time!

I adore a good cappuccino! I have a Rancilio S27 espresso machine which is my BABY! We have a morning routine: wake up and turn her on, then pull a nice shot and pour a cappy or latte. It is difficult to break from the routine! But sometimes I get the urge for some other kind of coffee. Sometimes.

The Ibrik ...

I realized I didn't post a pic of what an Ibrik looks like, so here it is. Along with cute demitasse cups and a can of Turkish Coffee. All you need to make some great tasting Turkish Coffee!
(Well, and some sugar, too. :D )

Turkish Coffee with Sushi

Aaaah, Sunday morning! Perfect time to make some Turkish coffee in the Ibrik.

It IS Sunday, and I didn't video clips of making it----next time!

Meanwhile, Sushi is enjoying her little treat!

Easy Stovetop Espresso

This morning I made a nice Cafe Au Lait using a stovepot espresso maker, aka: the moka pot.

I frothed the milk (lowfat organic Stonyfield Farms, yum!) using my Rancilo S27 espresso machine. Ground the beans in my Mini Mazzer at setting number 3.

Sprinkled a tad of nutmeg on top.

A real smooth tasty cup for a nice Staurday morning! These are naturally decaffeinated beans roasted by me about 7 days ago, a blend of Ethiopian Harrar and Sidamo.
